2001
FireStream is founded as a technology consulting company.
2002
FireStream acquires Advantage Energy Software, an industry leader in providing computer automation solutions to Petroleum Marketers and Convenience Stores. FireStream is proud to inherit a 25-year history, petroleum industry-experienced resources and a nationwide customer base.
2003
FireStream changes the name of its Windows back-office platform to "Ascend."
2005
FireStream migrates Ascend to Microsoft’s SQL-Server platform.
FireStream introduces Transcend, a management by exception module available with FireStream’s Ascend software, which helps businesses become more efficient and gain competitive advantage.
FireStream offers Web Portal technology, enabling businesses to view invoices, price quotes, EFTs, and order data online and in real time.
2006
The acquisition of Symbology Systems enables FireStream to offer the top truck-based fuel delivery and management system in the industry for both fleet fueling and commercial deliveries.
The acquisition of TMI Services’ retail application, in use at nearly 5,000 convenience stores across the United States, brings pricebook, lottery tracking and workforce management functionality to FireStream retail customers.
The acquisition of Meridian’s Equipment Tracker software holds significant value for lubricant and petroleum distributors. Besides managing loaned equipment and associated maintenance agreements and warranties, Equipment Tracker helps marketers determine whether their customers are meeting volume commitments and whether they should be loaning or leasing equipment.
As a result of these three accretive acquisitions in 2006, FireStream’s customer count now exceeds 450, and FireStream advances its goal of becoming the number one systems provider for elite jobbers and high-end retailers |
